Hi, I’m Yesim Tilley, founder of Skynet Accounting.

With over 15 years of experience in financial leadership, I’ve helped businesses across industries – including manufacturing, aviation, and energy – gain control over their financial health, optimise cash flow, and drive sustainable growth.

Why Skynet Accounting?

After years at the forefront of the accounting sector, I noticed a common frustration among business owners: a lack of clarity around their own financials. I heard the same concerns time and time again:

💬 “I don’t understand why.”

💬 “My accountant doesn’t tell me anything.”

💬 “I just get an email with my accounts to sign – I have no idea what’s in them.”

Sound familiar? You’re not alone. Too many businesses operate without financial visibility, missing out on opportunities to maximise profits, manage risks, and plan effectively.

At Skynet Accounting, we do things differently. We don’t just prepare numbers, we translate them into insights, guiding you through your financial position, advantages, and risks. We explain the why, provide a clear financial roadmap, and support you in making informed decisions. You’ll sign your accounts with confidence, knowing your business is on solid financial ground.

A Track Record of Financial Transformation

My career has been built on solving complex financial challenges and delivering real results. I’ve restructured finance departments, implemented robust systems, and turned struggling operations into profitable, efficient enterprises. Some of my key achievements include:

Led a £2 billion turnover organisation to full audit compliance and financial transparency by building financial systems and processes from the ground up.

Transformed cash flow for a manufacturing company by eliminating reliance on costly invoice financing, recovering overdue payments, and renegotiating client terms.

Bridged finance and production goals to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and unlock spare capacity.

Worked with leadership teams across the UK and internationally to create financial strategies that drive long-term stability and growth.

Whether I’m analysing production bottlenecks, optimising financial workflows, or mentoring teams, my goal is always the same: to create clarity, control, and confidence in the numbers – so businesses can focus on what they do best.

From Childhood Curiosity to Financial Expertise

My instinct for numbers started early. At eight, I was given five German marks – curious about its value, I started tracking currency exchange rates on TV, figuring out how money worked. I saved, traded, and eventually earned enough to buy my way into the UK. By 12, I was studying finance; by 15, I was a manufacturing apprentice. At Ford, I’d slip through the gates, captivated by the precision of the production line – fascinated by the seamless coordination of systems and numbers. That same fascination fuels my work today.

At Skynet Accounting, we don’t just manage numbers – we help you master them. If you’re ready to take control of your financial future, let’s talk.
